Crossing the Chasm

I have never met a white board that I didn’t draw this cute little bell curve on. Here’s why: I have had the opportunity to work on many start-up and scaling brands that need to know their audience. In disruptive businesses you are asking people to take a leap - a leap to trust you and a leap go on this journey with you.

At Axia we were fibre before fibre was cool. We also unbundled when Netflix was mailing out DVDs. We were ahead of the curve. It is a great place to be as long as you can find “the innovators” and “early adopters”. We became myopic in finding those forward thinking Countries (Singapore, France, USA, and Australia (for a while)), Cities, towns, and humans. I am proud to report we exceeded 80% adoption in many communities we provided fibre to the premise connectivity. Hooray!

At Bōde, the people and companies who are most likely to sell their homes using an online, data backed tool are those who know that they are the expert on their home. If often blows people’s minds that people who sell their home using Bōde actually make more money than if they sell the traditional way. Innovators get it though - they understand the value is in the data and the process - and they are taking the leap with us. Early majority here we come!
