Find inspiration
Learnings, teachings and tips & tricks or my favourite things to listen to, read, or just inspire me to go above and beyond.
Bob (freaking) Iger
What a legend this guy is eh?
He has to top the list (at least for me) on the best leaders in the world. He is a class act with courage, wisdom, and humility to boot.
His story inspires creativity in thinking and curiosity in life. He takes risks - big ones and he is decisive about them too… which is also why he is so successful. Not every leader would have made the call to stop licensing content to Netflix and starting Disney+… he did, and he was right.
Innovation and creativity go hand and hand.

Crossing the Chasm
I have never met a white board that I didn’t draw this cute little bell curve on. Here’s why: I have had the opportunity to work on many start-up and scaling brands that need to know their audience. In disruptive businesses you are asking people to take a leap - a leap to trust you and a leap go on this journey with you.
Creativity Inc
One of the things I love about "Creativity Inc." is the importance of fostering a culture of openness. This allows for a more collaborative and innovative environment where all team members can contribute their unique ideas and perspectives.
Podcast: Freaknomics
"Freakonomics Radio" is a podcast that uses data, research and storytelling to explore the hidden side of economics, human behaviour, and decision making. And I LOVE data. These gents think about topics totally differently uncovering intriguing stories along the way.
The Gathering
More of a people person? Me too.
The Gathering is hands-down the best conference I have been to. And I go every year.
I go for inspiration from some of the worlds best brands and their top marketers. And I go for connection. I leave with new ideas and inspired to go to even greater heights. I love gathering (pun intended) with people from around the world and learn from them and with them.
Master Class
I have a passion for cooking, sport, business, creativity and just learning from the best of the best.

Start with why
Ok. Ok. I know everyone and their dog has read, listened to, watched and referenced Simon Sinek. There is a reason - he is right on the money. When you build a business, it needs to come from a foundation of purpose or “why”. It becomes a “north star” and aligns everyone - employees, customers, and shareholders, to what you set out to do. I love it.
Not everyone does this well.
It is where the rubber hits the road and sometimes it can be uncomfortable.
A great creative team can turn your “why” into a manifesto… one you can print on the walls for everyone to see. I love this work and setting the foundations of a brand and business to have the impact they set out to accomplish.
Start with why.
Coffee? Beer?
Since I am an extroverted extrovert - I love spending time with old and new friends!
